AWipes 24 & MBHPIC Summit held in Shanghai

On 2 to 3 April, the 2024 Asia Wiping Materials Conference and Mother & Baby Products Innovation Summit (AWipes 24 & MBHIPC) was held in Shanghai.

Li Lingshen, Vice President of China National Textile and Apparel Council, said that the wiping materials and mother and baby products industry has an important relationship with people's life and health, and sustainable development is an important topic for the industry.
 

Li Guimei, President of China Nonwovens & Industrial Textils Association, focused on the sustainable development path of nonwoven wipes, elaborating on the innovative development of China's nonwovens and sanitary products industry from the aspects of green raw materials, green production process and technology, and green products.

Tony Fragnito, President of the American Nonwovens Association, said the wipes industry will maintain strong momentum with improvements in product functionality, convenience and market expansion. Regulatory challenges abound, and working with the broader industry will provide solutions.

A roundtable forum was held during the conference, in which many representatives from all over the world upstream and downstream of raw material suppliers, manufacturers, brands, distributors and other wiping materials talked about the current situation of the industry, the development challenges, the prospective environmental protection technology, and discussed important topics such as the channel layout and the terminal product selection strategy.
